DOMAIN NAME STANDARDS AND GUIDELINES

The Domain Name Standard proposed by Digital Government Standard of PNG DICT provides guidelines for the registration, management, and use of domain names within the Papua New Guinea government domain.

Overall, the Domain Name Standard aims to establish a consistent and reliable system for domain name registration and management within the Papua New Guinea government domain, while promoting security and privacy best practices.

CYBER SECURITY STANDARDS AND GUIDELINES

GOVERNMENT CLOUD STANDARD AND GUIDELINES

The objectives of the cloud standards and guidelines are to encompass everything from service models and deployment strategies to security, performance, legal compliance, and forward-looking trends.

By adhering to these standards, departments can ensure the reliability, interoperability, and security of their cloud environments. This standard shall provide guidelines on the deployment of cloud-based computing products and services.

SOCIAL MEDIA STANDARDS AND GUIDELINES

Social Media Standard and Guidelines provide the necessary guidance to assist public bodies to manage social media accounts securely; provide a uniform and consistent mode of communication across all social media platforms; and facilitate a safe and responsible engagement between followers and government social media accounts. 

 

 

GOVERNMENT INTERNET SERVICE PROVIDER (ISP) STANDARD

This prescribes standards and guidelines for Internet Service Provider (ISP) Standards. All Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and public bodies must comply with this standard.

These standards encompass many considerations, ranging from the selection of ISPs to the maintenance of a secure and resilient network infrastructure
